This brutalist sterling silver bracelet conforms to you and your movements. It feels good on your arm. This is your bad ass woman bracelet. Wear it when you need that extra protection or armor, such as meeting with the boss or a challenging client.
PROCESS:
* I begin with cutting approximate 1/2” squares from sterling silver sheet. I then “reticulate” the silver, using a torch to create the unique texture.
* Next, I flatten the squares and file the edges and corners to make them smooth. The squares are drilled.
* I make each tiny jump ring to attach the squares. Once the squares are joined, I solder each jump ring closed.
* I added bars to the back side of each end, to give form to the bracelet and to attach the toggle connectors.
* Finally, the silver is oxidized and then removed with sandpaper to create the unique patina.
* Because of the detail involved, this bracelet takes time to craft.
