Sterling Silver, Garnet (?)
1” long (1 5/8” drop length) x 1 7/8” wide
PROCESS: After drawing the flower on a stencil, I traced it and hand sawed the sterling silver sheet to create 2 matching earrings. I soldered the bezel to the flower. The earrings were then blackened and I scratched away the patina to “draw” the petals. I set the cranberry-colored gemstone (admittedly I don’t know what it is, probably garnet).
