Cherry Blossom Asymmetrical Earrings in Sterling Silver
In the Spring, outside my front door, a tree flowers (probably crabapple, not cherry). A couple of years ago, I snapped a few twigs and cast them in sterling silver, and made earrings (see last photo). I was never satisfied with them, and so dismantled them and recreated them totally in sterling silver with pink stones. I am enamored by the 1800s Japanese prints of cherry blossoms, and wanted to recreate them here.
Cherry Quartz, Tourmaline, Sterling Silver
2 5/8” long x 1 1/2” wide, asymmetrical
