This avant grade bangle is hammered sterling silver, with a snake skin texture and hand sewn accents. Classy AND edgy, wear it to your next cultural event, whether it be a poetry reading, community theatre, or concert.
PROCESS:
* I start with sterling silver sheet that I that I hammer to create the opposing curves (called anti-clastic forming - will not hold water). This takes time and coaxing of the metal, which just wants to go straight.
* I then add a snake skin texture to the bangle using a rotary disc.
* The sterling silver is then oxidized, with some of it removed to reveal the unique texture. The bracelet is waxed and buffed to protect the textures.
* I drill many holes along the edges and “sew” using a fine sterling silver wire. I bend the wire for an interesting design.

CARE:
This bracelet is oxidized for a darker patina and to highlight the textures. If you need to clean it, wash gently with liquid soap and water, to retain the patina.
